What were you doing before Dexters and how did you join us?
Before Dexters, I spent six years in the military, serving on global operations before transitioning into leadership instruction. After leaving the military, I completed various degrees and moved into management roles in the sports sector. I later shifted to education and training, where I discovered modern apprenticeships and found my passion.

Where did you start and where are you now?
I began as the Qualifications Manager in the Coaching and Development team and have since progressed to Director, overseeing the academy's qualification offerings.

What is your favourite thing about your role?
I love seeing colleagues grow and succeed, gaining Ofsted and National Accredited Qualifications as they advance in their careers at Dexters.

What advice would you give someone looking to join the industry?
Be open to every opportunity that comes your way. Embrace challenges, and you'll quickly excel and achieve great things in this field.

Have you done any qualifications with us?
Coming from a non-industry background, I’ve had a steep but rewarding learning curve. I’ve completed the ARLA qualification and a Lead Internal Quality Assurer qualification, and I’m looking forward to my next challenge. Qualifications are crucial in this industry, and I’m proud to be part of a company that offers such comprehensive career development.

What’s the most exciting thing about your role?
Watching the Dexters Academy grow and expand, allowing more colleagues to earn accredited qualifications and advance in their careers. We're very proud to be one of the UK's only Ofsted-regulated estate agency businesses.
